School Uniform / Gwisg Ysgol

The wearing of school uniform is strongly encouraged. It teaches pupils about good standards of dress and prepares them for the High School.

 

The uniform is as follows:-

 

Boys: Grey Trousers Summer Wear: Grey Shorts, White Polo Shirt (logo, plain), School Sweatshirt (logo, red ), School shoes (not trainers)

 

Girls: Grey Skirt/trousers Summer Wear: Red Check Cotton Dress, White Polo Shirt (logo, plain), Grey skirt School Sweatshirt (logo, red ), School shoes

(not trainers)

 

 

 

The wearing of jewellery is forbidden in school for safety reasons, however, stud earrings may be worn provided the child is able to remove them for P.E. Alternatively, tape may be placed over stud earrings for P.E. lessons.

P.E. Uniform

On entering the school all pupils should have basic kit to enable them to take part in P.E. lessons.

 

Boys: Black shorts (or jogging bottoms during outside sessions in colder weather) Red T-shirt Sweatshirt or warm top suitable for outdoor games Boots suitable for outdoor games Trainers / pumps Swimming trunks - Not swimming shorts Towel for swimming

 

Girls: Black shorts (or jogging bottoms during outside sessions in colder weather) Red T-shirt Sweatshirt or warm top suitable for outdoor games Boots suitable for outdoor games Trainers / pumps Swimming costume Towel for swimming.

 

Year groups will have PE days on different days. Teachers will communicate this with parents via Seesaw. On their PE days, children are to continue to come into school in their School PE kit (plain red t-shirt and black shorts/tracksuit bottoms) and to continue to wear their school jumper on these days.

Labelling

All items of clothing should be marked with your child’s name. This will undoubtedly save you money in the long run and help us to return lost property quickly. Should your child lose any item, please contact your class teacher and/or school office and we will do our utmost to help.
