Drum Show

This week, our drummers performed for the school, showcasing their considerable talents to well enjoyed songs. There was a range of genres of music, and Ben Neale their tutor looked on proudly. Many of them had recently achieved Grades 1 and 2!

Rounders Tournament

A mixture of Year 5 and 6 represented the school at the Primary Schools Rounders Tournament held in Ruthin. One team came fourth and the other were the overall winners, so a successful day all round. Thanks to Miss Jamieson for coaching and umpiring too.

End of topic projects

As the topic draws to a close, Year 5 shared their overall project with the school. In service, they talked to the ‘Olympic Committee 2028’ about the sport of KhoKho they wanted to introduce, the mascots, kits and medals they had devised as well as Mission Statements and inspiration. They also orchestrated a Championship Game to the whole school on the back field to introduce them to it.

Nurture Group

visit to Crabwall Manor Mrs Gwen took some pupils from her Nurture group to interact with residents in Crabwall Manor nursing home in Chester as a treat for their achievements this year. They met a wonderful lady who was 103 and played games,        made cakes and shared lunch with them​​​​​​​.
